Personal care includes things like: bathing, showering, hair washing, shaving, brushing your teeth, nail care, going to the toilet, catheter and stoma care, skin care, incontinence laundry and bed changing, eating, special diets, food preparation and mobility support.

What services are included in personal care? 

Personal Care can include any of the following tasks: bathing, showering, washing and drying hair, oral and denture care and all aspects of toileting including commode assistance and pad changes.

How will carers know what I like or dislike with my personal care? 

All information surrounding your personal care needs will be discussed and recorded in your Care Plan. This means if at any time you have a change of carer, a different suitable carer will be able to provide the appropriate care based on your agreement with us.

I like to have a routine when it comes to my personal care, can my carer help me to keep this routine going?

Absolutely. Our carers will help you to carry out your personal care routines when they best suit you. Carers will be on hand as much or as little as you prefer with your personal care.
